Hello…my name is Penelope and I am now ready for my new furever home!

 

I am only a year old but I am already the mumma of five beautiful babies – Pokey, Pandora, Poppy, Phoenix and Prince! I am very cute and way too smart for my own good..so my foster mum tells me everyday.

 

As you can imagine, as a solo young mum busily raising my babies, I am still learning how to be a kitten myself. I have so far learnt how to use cat stands for scratching and lounging, how to chase toys and how to play with the feather sticks!

 

Playing in the catio and sun baking are some of my favourite things to do. Birdie watching is great fun too!

 

I am a shy girl but I have a big heart and a beautiful nature. While it may take a little bit of time for me to warm up to you, once I have, there will be chats, love, and head scratches on my agenda.

I love my food, and at dinner time I like to wrap my tail around my foster mums legs and wait for my dinner to be served. We have snack platters here for lunch with the yummiest kitty bickies and my favourite push up treats too!

I have been an amazing mumma to my beautiful babies and now it is time for me to relax and enjoy my best life. I would love a patient loving family to grow into.

 

I am VERY social around other kittens and grown up cats, and I love smooching all around the other big cats here. We have some dogs living next door at our foster home and I am not a big fan of the noises that they make, so a dog free home may be best for me. We have no little kids here, but I am sure that I will adjust to respectful children, given a little time and patience.

 

I am a very clean and tidy girl, and I am a litter tray expert.

 

 Penelope must be rehomed to an indoor-only home or an indoor home with a secure cat enclosure/catio (please see examples here if unsure what this means: https://catsofaustralia.com/blog/cat-enclosures

Adoption fee $150 which includes Penelope’s sterilisation, microchipping, up-to-date vaccination and flea/worm treatment.
